The Technology Center serves as the lifeblood of MRT and the Coal Combustion Products industry's leading force behind research and development and pioneering customer service. The Technology Center plays a key role in every aspect of MRT's relationship with its customers - from innovating beneficial technologies - to maintaining quality assurance - to educating both customers and governmental/industrial agencies in "best practices".
Research and Development - In the last three years alone MRT's research and development efforts have led to numerous breakthroughs and resulted in nearly a dozen patent issuance's and applications in a number of fields - including two for our revolutionary [MRT Cements]. The R&D work is concentrated both on developing new application methods as well as improving existing products.
Quality Assurance/Quality Control - MRT's Technology Center continuously monitors our various products to maintain our hard-earned reputation of quality leadership within the Coal Combustion Products industry. Uniquely, MRT's Technology Center has the explicit authority to stop production or sale of any MRT products at any time should quality concerns arise. Additionally, the Technology Center is called upon by our suppliers to work with them in ensuring that downstream products consistently meet theirs and MRT's exacting standards.
Best Practices - As part of our "Customer Service 101," the Technology Center works with each and every one of our customers (and prospective customers) on maximizing their beneficial use of MRT's products. The Technology Center also works on behalf of our customers to educate various governmental and industrial agencies on the uses and benefits of MRT's products, thereby opening up additional product applications.
